I have some Borderline patients......the disorder is a continuum and we all have parts of it.

Its very painful watching people on the extreme ruin their own lives and the lives of everyone around them....I am sure we have all met people with splitting tendencies - will worship us one day and berate us and devalue us the next day....?

A lot of people we think have bad luck, are actually borderline and go thru life never understanding why their life is a series of catastrophes...its one of the most undiagnosed condition....and hence rarely treated. Because of the temperamentality, aggressiveness and impulsivity associated with the disorder, the patients often fall out of therapy before any significant benefits can be achieved...

The foundation is set by restrictive, or unemotional parenting during early years, prior to the age of 3.

I have become so unsure about my parenting skills since I researched borderlines and narcissistic disorders in depth...LOL!
