Oh, I forgot -- there's Al Qaeda, our "favorite" terrorist organization. Never fails to turn up when there's no evidence and one needs someone to blame.

>>Mehdi sees the attack on the shrine as a transparent effort by insurgent leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to incite sectarian hostilities and foreclose the possibility that Sunnis will participate in the next government.<<

Meanwhile, they only have to pop one more mosque, and the whole country explodes:

>>The strongest signal of still worse trouble ahead, Rubin said, would be if Shiites decide to retaliate by attacking the Abu Hanifa Mosque in Baghdad, the birthplace of the Hanafi school of Sunni jurisprudence and the holiest Sunni site in Iraq.<<

So any time anyone blows up the Abu Hanifa mosque it has to be the Shiites. What a sitting duck for "Al Qaeda"!! Masked men destroy the mosque, Iraq breaks into civil war, the Kurds claim independence, a while later a video from Al-Zarqawi appears on Al Jazeera TV confirming he destroyed the mosque -- and Israel laughs all the way to the bank as the oil flows once again from Mosul to Haifa.
