Thanks DAK. My guess too. Boy are things messed up in the world and only 90 days to hurricane season.

My son in law has a phd in atmospheric chemistry and studies global warming (previously at the U of W under a NOAA grant), but as Bush does not beleive in global warming no need for him-lol. They cut that research way back.

He is now teaching physics at Portland state. anyway he says everyone is cringing. Temperatures were 8 degrees above normal in the gulf states in January so not much of a chance for the gulf to cool down.

So we have civil war in Iraq, Iran developing nuclear weapons, Israel theatening to take them out, Iran threatening to send misslles to take out saudi oil terminals if they do, more and pssible larger hurricanes coming (and we have done little repair to Katrina and little levee construction), twin deficits completely out of control, money for Iraq all spent, so we need to go back to congress for more, Nigeria oil under attack, Ven oil tenuous, world hates us, social security and medicar out of control, and bush is optimistic -aaarrrgggg-lol.

But hopefully Bush's unpolitic contract to give UAE control of our ports which his family probably has financial interests in somewhere may at last be outed.

I see little chance the world will calm down enough for gold to fall much-lol, or really to survive much longer-lol.
