Sun Microsystems New Fincl Chief To Get $700,000 Salary

WASHINGTON -- Sun Microsystems Inc. (SUNW) said Friday that it will pay a $700,000 annual salary to Michael E. Lehman, the company's new financial chief.

The Santa Clara, Calif., company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Lehman also received 500,000 stock options and 350,000 restricted stock units.

Sun Microsystems announced Tuesday that Lehman, who previously occupied the post from 1998 to 2002, had been named chief financial officer of the company.
