re: Ethanol comes with some of its own problems. Far fewer than oil. What are your problems with ethanol? re: Personally I'd remove the subsidy for it, and the barriers against its import (which act to increase the price). If it becomes competitive with gasoline and starts gaining acceptance than fine I have no problem with the idea. As soon as we remove all the subsides for oil and the oil companies let's talk.
