March options to date - only 3 weeks left so I don't think that I will not do a lot more:
Regular account:
VPHM 20.00 at 2.15 VPHM 22.50 at 2.25 MNTA 20.00 at 1.90 GRMN 65.00 at 3.20 GRMN 70.00 at 2.90 TRLG 22.50 at 2.50 AMLN 35.00 at 1.95 MDCO 17.50 at 1.60 MDCO 17.50 at 1.20 BWNG 7.50 at .35 CHS 45.00C at 4.30 VLTR 17.50C at .95 VLTR 17.50C at .90

MDCO 15.00 at .90 VPHM 20.00 at 1.50 BWNG 7.50 at .35 BWNG 7.50 at .40 VLTR 17.50c at .60
The calls are extensions of prior writes in my main account. I took a loss on the CHS, but picked up about another 1.10 on the extension.
The GRMN puts are similar to the ones that I have done on SEPR in the past - much lower return than the others, but I understand the company much better and would not be worried that I will hold the common for along period if it is put to me. The common has much less volatility, so it will not have the same kind of percentage return - and eats up much more committed capital to get much of a dollar return at all.
The GRMN and VPHM look to be in the worst shape right now (though Barrons' article on GRMN may help). I still have some VPHM common long to sell a call against if I can get ~1.00 on the 22.50s. I should have done much more TRLG when it took a nose dive, but it is a very volatile stock, so I might lose on this trade yet. The BWNG trades should do fine, but are not big percentage winners. MDCO is the one that has a big event right before expiration, but I hope that the common will be high enough going into the news, that a negative move will not cause a drop that would lose my entire proceeds, but TWT. I should have done some RMBS when it was mentioned, but I wanted to follow it for a while and don't feel comfortable yet. I am simply uncomfortable to write on many that I have used successfully in the past - NKTR, ALKS, MOGN, SFCC, more MNTA at these prices, MYGN, and SEPR. March will be quite a bit under goal since I have not found enough to do. April may be very difficult to pull the trigger on anything, but two three weeks is a long time. |
