One of the cardinal rules of diving is to always dive with a buddy. There are a lot of things that can get you into trouble, and it's good to have someone there to help out. The particular location where this apparent shark attack took place has a number of caves. We were on a guided dive, and went into one. There was a 6' reef shark asleep on the floor. Out guide took my daughter's hand and had her touch the shark. She freaked out when it woke up and swam away indignantly. This is the shark: pbase.com Other pictures from those dives: pbase.com
