If the GOP gets Roe overturned, the GOP will become an instant minority party for decades. Tens of millions of female voters are complacent about this for now, but when they find out what the far right's real goal is, to reverse womens rights completely, they will vote solidly democratic, maybe even pout someone like Hillary in charge of the country. Yes, Hillary or a female democrat would be the biggest beneficiary of over-turning Roe.
Remember, the GOP rightwing also wants to put parents and husbands in charge of a woman's most private choice, keep her ignorant without sex ed and birth control (resulting in more unwanted pregnancies), deny her the best new birth control drugs, classify many boys and men she has sex with as "sex offenders", do away with all affirmative action for women, cut academic scholarships which are mostly for women, cut daycare which keeps women at home, and even cut breast cancer research which kills women. |
