Elroy, Israel is smack dab in the middle of the 1.2 billion Muslims

So you're of the opinion that the modern state of Israel should have never been formed?

I don't know about Elroy but I don't think it should have put where it was put. And I don't know if there would have been a better location. I would feel the same way if some Native Americans went to the UN and insisted that the state of Colorado be turned into a country for the Navahoes. While I don't like the way the Native Americans were treated in this country during their conquest by the European settlers, I am not about to right a wrong by giving up one of our current states. Would you?

The Jews were driven out of Palestine........I don't know all the details but I am sure it was not very nice. However, I don't see why the present occupants of Palestine should be forced to make up for a wrong done thousands of years ago. It would have been a nice solution had it been acceptable to the Arabs already living in Palestine. However, they objected almost from day one, and the Brits ignored their complaints just as America ignores their complaints now.

Instead, the Brits gave into Zionist demands until too late they realized they had made a mistake. When the Brits stopped acceding to Zionist demands, the Zionists took matters into their own hands and began blowing up the Brits. In frustration, the Brits handed the problem over to the UN and then the US stepped into the mess. The rest is history.
