Maybe the other systems do ok on this stock, but if I had a system that would put me into a trade once a month on a constant basis and it proved to get me 30%, it would be a good system. Yet this same system might not be good for anything else but this one stock.

Tim,
I have been thinking along similar lines for quite awhile now. If you find a stock that you like and find a system that predicts the buy and sell movements for that stock, why not split your stocks to watch into several groups and use a separate system on each group. With the power of the computer programs these days, this should not be all that hard to do. I am presently using StochRSI(14) and Dave's Newest System to scan stocks. They do not allways match up, but that does not matter as each has a group of stocks on which it works best.
The main trick then is in the overall selection of stocks to watch. I am using the programable feature of WOW to make the scans for me. Only time will tell if it is a better system than just using one trading system. I do believe that you should enter and exit a trade on the same system.
