Find another doc???
LOL!!! "Never take NO for an answer!", he yelled as he collapsed of a heart attack in the snow. :-)

So that dictated that I find a doctor at Tahoe which was convenient as that was where I was at the time of the attack.
I always knew skiers were crazy.

He has been around skiing since before I started breaking legs, a long time ago.
I always knew skiers were crazy.

He doesn't look his age.
Which DOESN'T mean he can save you from your own foolishness.

Anybody who mentions my archaeological "adventures" get a hit contract.

Of course he said keep it below this level of exertion after measuring my ability on a belt.
I assume you mean "treadmill". Or did they hang you to see how long you could last?
OTOH, they could whip you to test pain tolerance, which also applies to skiing. :-)

Skiing was always in the recovery plan. Its the sailing that has him concerned. He keeps coming up with ideas for me to take on the boat. First it was nitroglycerin. Then it was just an oxygen supply. Now its a continuous supply of O2 derived from air processed through some sort of pump the produces pure O2 extracting all the nitrogen. I'll need to research this, no idea where to buy such a device. A hooka system (which costs about $1000) doesn't extract the nitrogen so I'm sure this ultimate system is going to be expensive. Of course living and breathing are pretty valuable activities.
A hooka doesn't deliver what he has in mind either. :-)

Why not both? After an MI, they slap a big nitroglycerin patch on you (I believe this is part of the pain tolerance test, since it causes an excruciating headache. I'm a wimp and always beg and whimper and whine for codeine or vicodin) and feed you O2 too.
