Probably so--

One deal might be covering standards and eventually a cardbuilt into CPQ motherboard from INTC. These NIC's would be be put into the machine without asking a customer wheter he wants them or not. These machines would be for the office LAN market.

The second deal would be that they would buy off the shelf NIC's from 3COM as they build to order. These machines would be for the SOHO/Home market.
