I don't think anybody has called our troops murderers. Keep in mind that Rummy maintained that our troops will be welcomed with Iraqis dancing on the streets of Baghdad with flowers and candy. Have you seen any of that happen? Instead what I see is the indignation and anger of the Iraqis because of incidents such as Abu Gharib. A few errant troops with support from top military brass like Gen. Boykin etc. rounded up innocent Iraqis and raped their honor and dignity. Is this how we respect their culture? You think there are no religious bigots in our military. If Bush moved quickly to reprimand Gen Boykin and his types very quickly, then it would have sent a strong signal to the US military. Instead they take low level folks like PFC Lyndie England and court martial them, after the media catches them in the act. You think if the media had not caught her, Gen Boykin would not have promoted her for toeing his line?

Come on get real. Liberals have never supported anything that is not kosher and the brutal acts of the US military is one of them. Yes indeed it takes the acts of a few to tarnish the image of everybody.
