that would make 67% jews and less than 12% palestinian arabs, would not it? Surprised?

The next question you should ask yourself if the population was so small and majority of people living in Jerusalem were jews and on top of that Jordan got good chunk of Palestine then where did all the palestianian arabs came from?

BTW the arabs that lived in the desert were beduins and they are citizens of Israel and as all citizens serve in Israeli army and fight so called "palestinians"
