know about it because I need, at least for a while, to run some stock trading programs that are only Windows. One of my friend's problems was that she couldn't get into her broker's web site. There are workarounds for all these problems, including running Windows on the Mac so she can do her landscaping and getting Firefox so she can access her broker. I am a very hassle-averse person. I'd have to have a very, very good reason for switching to something that invited hassles. IMO, you might as well wear a sign that says "hit me." But that's just me.
