"Congress holds the purse stings." Come on Pro...its a REPUBLICAN congress. His own party. The party that ran on fiscal responsibility. Because the republicans won't manage themselves we are supposed to give the President more power???? why doesn't he use the veto he has now? Want some examples of vetos that would have resulted in coming back to him in the form of cheaper and more focused new bills?......Highway, Medicare part D, Farm bill, and many more.
