The 22d only deals with election to the office. The apparent conflict comes into play from the 12th: no person can be VP if ineligible to be POTUS. Together I'd say the better argument is no one elected to POTUS twice can then be VP. Others may contend Constitutional succession is different from election to a third term, the 12th deals in qualifications for the office, not electing. Ineligibility is ineligibility in my view.
