Cisco in pact on cable modem standards SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept 18 (Reuter) - Cisco Systems Inc said Thursday it and three other consumer-electronics companies plan to deliver products based on an industry standard for cable modems and advanced subscriber units. Discussions with additional companies are underway to join the initiative.
