In most countries, Bush-Cheney would have already resigned. Bush is now below 40% support and could be falling a lot more. That Dubai Ports deal shatered the notion that he gives a damn about national defense. That was his last leg to stand on and now it's gone.

Plus even GOP loyalists who've been BS'ing us about Iraq now admit it was a huge mis-managed mistake. And they're beginning to realize Bush-Cheney lied to them since day one. As that sinks in, it's gotta hurt. Bush-CHeney have basically betrayed their country and their party. They need to go.
