Mr. Cormier, My congratulations -- I see you're no longer in last place in the Compuserve mining contest. However, it does appear that your porfolio is down over 50%. Looks like solid IPM stock holders are still holding down the top scores.

While it is a unusual indicator, and not one that represents the
whole mining market, this contest with its 100 different stocks, is none
the less a fair repesentation of the stock market in mostly speculative
shares. Crunched in the months after the frauds and bungles in the jungles,
this index was much lower. I am seeing a turn around in many of the better
small plays, that are just now getting financing and putting drills down,
in prime areas 6 months later than had been expected.
The average from the lowest point is up close to $1,500 per player
and climbed about 1% this week alone.
So while Mr Kuntel has moved comfortably into First Place,on the
strength of his excellent pick of PRX - Probe, there are 5 or 6 players
who are challenging and only need one double bagger to be right up there.
Unfortunately there are still only 12 players above the original
starting point of $20,000. There are now another 6 who seem to be moving up
and only need a 10% move or so to move back into contention.
With three and a half months to go, I am beginning to think that I
may have to resort to my secret but legitamate weapon to win. This could be
rough but someone has to win, and while I languish in the cellar, I dream
of a comeback.. Good luck to all.
Bill..
