Beverly: I live on the west coast and as far as I know there have no interruptions via my ISP. Time is now 10:40 PM PDT. I signed on about ten minutes after market opened and paid close attention for more than an hour.

I'm still amazed at the variation in quality of service from provider to provider. Ours has done some major backbone work in the past couple of months and the improvement is obvious.

Just checked at IT site all seems well.

Do you use Ping?

For the uninitiated... Ping.exe is in the Windows directory. Start a MS DOS window from the start menu and if C:\windows is the current directory, type: ping sharon.naq.com (or "ping amy.papyrus.com" if you are using that delayed server)

If the server is connected it will respond and some additional timing info will be returned.

There is a updated version of Ping.exe available at

microsoft.com

Count down about 20 files descriptions. Click on it to download. It will self install by simply clicking on the xxxupd.exe you'll have downloaded.
