Let hope! I think the recent activity is a combination of the cycle and SST's rising from GW. The real freaky part of '05 was the strength of the storms, and especially how quickly they strengthened. A couple went from cat 1 to cat 5 in 24 hours... they call it "bombing". Several storms set records for "bombing" in '05.
