I saw a program that claimed frogs were getting severe deformities from common pesticides. If that is true, it doesn't explain why I wouldn't see frogs up in the headwaters far from any pesticides.

I've heard there is a world-wide decline in amphibian populations. I'm always inclined to disbelieve chicken little claims, but then I haven't seen many frogs lately.
