The religious rightwing is forcing schools to teach their propaganda all across the country. The whole "evolution is just a theory" and "abstinence only" bunch. "Peace Studies" sounds silly, almost as if the rightwing made it up. Bethesda is a military town too. In which case maybe the kids need a balanced curriculum. But Peace Studies sounds like a hoax. Whereas the teaching of creationism and abolishment of sex education is no joke and robs students of important information they need in life. In fact lack of sex education can even get kids killed. It also promotes more abortions. BTW: Jesus said "blessed are the peace-makers", not the war-makers.
