I am no expert but here are the few famous ones belovezhskaya (old recepie herbal) zubrovka (easier to find and almost as good as belovezhskaya) zubrowka (polish variety of the above) Russky Standart starka (very old flavored) stolichnaya (stoli) pertsovka (pepper flavored - like vodka alone is not enough) Kubanskaya (lemon flavored) limonnaya (lemon flavored, dry) krepkaya (if you can stand it :]) the 1st 3 are made from the herbs of belovezhskaya puscha - very old forest that is shared by belarus and poland. That is the only place where european bison (zubr) survived and also, as the legend goes, the place with unique herbs. russian style is warm without mixing with anything and in one shot, don't drink and drive :-)) -AK
