Turkey won't accept an indepent Kurd state.

Hey, if you want to try for democracy I think I just outlined a pretty good plan for trying it. The key, in my opinion, is to get the population that will participate in a democracy closer in demographics. Otherwise the Shite numbers will overwhelm and there will be one Iraq as a theocratic state closely aligned with Iran. Thus, Iran's influence will be not only over its own oil but also Iraq's oil. And both China and India are there and will be there more than willing to do business, with the new Giant Iran, for oil. Where would that leave the US?

Anyway, I think you should consider my idea a bit more closely.
