I'm to the right of Bush on terrorism and fiscal matters.
I'm a centrist on the wedge issues like flags, guns and gays. I'm a progressive on the issues we need to really work on for the future, like energy and preserving civil liberties. There I also join honest conservatives. I'm a common sense pragmatist on most everything else. Parties shouldn't matter, but Bushies are so partisan they HAVE to matter for awhile, until the GOP is cleansed of all its crooks and lunatics.
I believe in working with Republicans, but not crooked Republicans like Cheney and Delay. And it's the most crooked ones who've taken over, like hijackers hijacking our nation. These crooked politicians and their rabid followers cannot be reasoned with. The religious right, for instance are largely un-Christian and sometimes completely immoral. So is Big Oil and the other gouging groups. Like terrorists, those extremists and parasites have to be dealt with harshly.
The majority of Americans are honest and have common sense, which explains why Bush only has one third of the country behind him now. They have seen through phony baloney Bush.

Much of the Bush revolution is based on dishonest psychological trickery. The America Hannity and Limbaugh spin about and Rove describes doesn't really exist. It's just a propaganda fantasy based on stupid fears and prejudices. Rove, Hannity and Limbaugh have no respect for Americans' intelligence. They're mental vampires and un-Christians.
What most people really want is to bring Americans back together, like Willie Nelson brought country fans together in the 70's, rednecks and longhairs uniting. Or like Clinton brought most Americans together in the 90's and treated them all fairly. That's the real America. All honestly working together to make things work. A united country where honesty, fairness, democracy and common sense really matter.
In reality, anyone making below a half million bucks a year who votes for Bush is voting against his own self-interest. That's just a fact. The same logic works on all other levels. Good Christians should shun Bush-Cheney-Delay. Their policies are immoral. |
