Outside of anti-abortion/anti-gay politics and unless you're in on the take and making obscene amounts of money from this Bush-Cheney presidency, there's absolutely no reason to support it. After all, conservative principles have been violated; moderate principles have been violated and certainly liberal principales have been run rough-shod.
What's amazing is that while most everyone is wide-eyed on issues like Iraq, Katrina, Spygate, Prison/Torture-gate, etc., there are incredible and numerous other issues related to diplomacy, health, education, environment, agriculture, labor, corporations and taxes, etc., that barely can find any room in the media for folks to truly understand what's going on.
Except for the photo-op, I don't think there is any issue from which this administration has been genuine. And what I mean by "genuine," it's that the president and vice-president are able, willing and ready to show up in order to make the photo-op fit into the daily GOPwinger talking points. |
