"...to reduce the cost of the search."

A member here sent me a PM asking what I meant by:

the "Stink Test" to identify Dave

Sad to say that my reply contained industrial strength gotmilkSpeak,
meaning it was alphabet soup of babble, double talk and "say what" :o)

As to your reply, you have learned from Dave's reply examples.

As for "why" especially towards me, well thats very very personal,
110% not to be made public, even from me to you in a PM.

Other reasons are simple everyday things, no need to note them.

I'll just "bookmark" it here as follows since "a day will arrive."

If the TOU included a change in how search results were returned to reflect:

"SI is not an investing AND political site"

If all searching done had all results from non investing boards removed,
then yes "SI is an investing site" and anyone needing results from boards
that are not the purpose of SI need to travel those boards and do a board search,
or maybe buy an additional premium feature to search all non investing boards.

I'll bet 99% of searches desire results from investing or non investing boards.

As noted in your reply, requires more not less work for the hardware since you seemed
to not have compartmentalize investing posts from others.

For you to focus on this "work" is just you doing a "Dave Reply" to side-step
the point made by my post.

Why? Simple... hard to admit you blundered.
