He's gotten away with a lot of other under the table deals .....

.......... So why not try another one.

The chimp and his father have some pretty shady associations with the Arabs. His father has some very questionable connections through the Carlyle Group. In addition, look how bin Laden family members were immediately airlifted out of the US in September 2001.

These guys are all criminals. History generally recognizes fact. I'm surprised it's taking so long.

The real problem is that the Democratic Party is impotent and was fooled by the right wing and helped it legitimize the Iraq invasion with H.J. Res. 114.

What stuns me is the glaring incompetence and corruption; but, moreso, the public's acceptance of it. FEMA's pathetic response to Katrina is the poster boy. The real problem there was that the GOP didn't care a whit about protecting New Orleans in the first place.

We live in a very conservative country now. Witness the lame acceptance by the Senate--and the public, for that matter--of the nominations of Roberts and Alito.

The media--and that includes CNN--is terrified of the right wing. Every time a "liberal" speaks on CNN, it seems that a crazy right-winger is given air time to present the "fair and balanced" other side.

It's a pity.
