I know...Groups like JJ's, and many in the MSM do it to sell ads, and in JJ's case, to get contributions.

My particular rant is...how many generations do we have to be here to be an American with no hyphen?

Are both parents of the same race, religion, color, creed, etc. Probably not. That's two people.

Are both sets of grandparents of the same race, religion, color, creed, etc. Probably not. That's four people.

Are all four SETS of people who are great- grandparentsparents of the same race, religion, color, creed, etc. Probably not. That's eight people.

Are all eight SETS of people who are great-great-grandparentsparents of the same race, religion, color, creed, etc. Probably not. That's sixteen people.

ETC. Etc Etc ETC.

You get my drift. It is really silly to say: "what color, and all the etcs" is a person?

We are all of some mixed background, with different cultures, colors, races, religions and creeds.

America is different than the rest of the world. We have people here that represent all people of the world, and maybe some that are all represented in one person.

We should try to get away from hyphenating any last name. IMO of course. It's devisive.
