Peter, how about as if they bashed ANYBODY :o)

Anybody works except they didn't go out to bash anybody they chose a target. It is the choosing a target minority. Most teenage killers don't go out to bash someone from the majority, if you see what I mean. But putting a few of these premeditated killers in adult prison for life would work. Too often their youth is given as an excuse for doing nothing.
