In an earlier post you reference the effects of darwinians on the libertarians. I have always called those types of folks the ayn randians. Is that who you were talking about? Over on LBs thread we got into it big time when one of those neanderthals said in reference to post Katrina relief--"dont feed the animals" and reference Tom Sowell. That quote is used widely along with "teach a man to fish" and i buy into a non-welfare view. But post Katrina this type of quote is an obscenity. Survival of the fittest doesnt exactly work when everything one owns is destroyed by Mother Nature. And i am sure some of these guys might live in florida and would have lined up for federal money if available if their boat was destroyed.
