The answer I would appreciate is why you think this particular "inaccuracy" is relevant and why I should be differentiating.

I believe that every "inaccuracy" is relevant. The news from Iraq has been less than honest by the US media. They have reported from a slant much of the time. Their band of truth is so wide you could drive a semi truck through it.

The media repeatedly uses the spin technique, "If you say it enough times, people will begin to believe it". Their repetition doesn't make it more accurate. An example that comes to mind is the Rather/Mapes extravaganza on Bush's ANG service record.

So, what is your opinion? Is there a civil war in Iraq today? Has the US media reported accurately in your judgement?
