i think you are way off base.... one of the biggest flaws in bush's style is that he tends to border on cronyism and places 'loyalty' almost above every other qualification, he lucked out with his selection of cheney under similar circumstances, he blew it with meirs... she's no dick cheney... the right looked at her qualifications and decided there was no way she qualified....or at the very least there were other much MORE qualified candidates...
