In many cases as a percentage of GDP as well.

For example federal education spending has nearly doubled, the GDP hasn't increased by anywhere near that much. Entitlement spending has gone up at a lower rate but still in excess of GDP and it started out as a huge part of the budget. A whole new program for drug benefits has been created under Bush's watch and with his support.

What major area of federal government spending hasn't gone up under Bush? What areas do you consider unfunded?
