Let's talk real stuff by keeping our feet on the ground.
Judging from the nature of your post, I would not be mistaken to assume that you were very troubled by a US President who lied to this nation about his sex life, which we agree is a private issue.
Today, we have clips on TV, which in no uncertain term establishes the fact that the US President was briefed about the damage potential of Katrina in advance. He failed to grasp the storm's severity, did not ask any questions during the briefing and failed to act. Subsequently, he goes on TV several days as late as yesterday to claim nobody in his Govt. predicted the severity of Katrina!!! Excuse me, say what Mr. President.
Also recall that Dick Clarke, claimed that during the PDB on August 9 2001, the President was warned about the impending terrorist attack in US. But the President remained disengaged. He failed to make any decisions to direct his Govt. to thwart the impending threat.
Mr. O'Neill in his book claims that prior to the Iraqi war, Mr. Bush remained disengaged and had just a singular thought in mind, which is to attack Iraq. His mind was never on the situation at hand, whhich was to pursue Al Qaeda terroists in the Tora Bora mountains.
So now Mr. McLucky, would you agree that this President is extremely incompetent and his incompetency has exposed this country to risk. THat he is a liar is inconsequential in the face of the enormity of damage due to his incompetency.
And what is worse is that he and his cohorts have attacked these folks vehemently and literally destroyed them. Today's video tape suddenly exposes this President. Video tapes don't lie, or does it according to you.
I am curious to know why people like you were outraged at Clinton lying, but find it OK to post partisan posts even on the very day that this President is exposed as having lied to the country causing loss of life in Iraq and New Orleans and damage to property.
I will eagerly wait for your response. |
