AmerisourceBergen to buy Brecon Wednesday March 1, 5:06 pm ET NEW YORK (Reuters) - Drug wholesaler AmerisourceBergen Corp. (NYSE:ABC - News) said on Wednesday it acquired Brecon Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a privately held, United Kingdom-based provider of contract packaging and clinical trial materials services, for about $49 million in cash. The acquisition also includes a contingent payment of up to $19 million, based on Brecon achieving specific earnings targets in calendar year 2006. The purchase is expected to be neutral to AmerisourceBergen's fiscal 2006 earnings. biz.yahoo.com
