It's also pretty easy to track down the land that was stolen from victims of many other wars as well. Why aren't these assets returned too? Why aren't the ancestors of slaves past compensated too? Those records exist too. I have a feeling the Native Americans are pretty certain their way of life was stolen when Americans stole their land. The problem is when a person believes only the victims from one war, over all other abuses in history, deserves special treatment. You either have to believe every victim from all historical abuses deserves this special treatment as well, or not. Inconsistency is the issue. Regards, Amy J
