Morgan Stanley believes AMD has continued to increase its penetration into the enterprise server and PC markets. They believe most of Google's (GOOG) near-term server purchases will use AMD's Opteron for the first time. They also expect leading OEMs, such as HPQ, Lenovo, Sun, Fujitsu Siemens and NEC, to continue to increase the number of enterprise SKUs available in the market. Based on strong near-term server demand and their expectation that AMD's mix will continue to richen, they expect the co to report another positive earnings surprise in 1Q. Firm raises their 2006-07E adj EPS (they trim 2007E MW EPS).
