SS is not really in a mess, it can be 'fixed' by simply getting rid of the salary cap. In fact, just by taking up the salary cap a bit, it's good to go for the next 75 years or so.

The 'SS is in a mess' crappola was only a scare tactic designed to provide a multibillion dollar windfall to Wall Street. As in the past, taxing the super rich would begin to heal our ugly financial problems and NOT damage the economy in any way, shape or form.

In fact, it would stimulate the economy as it has done so many times in the past. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't have a factual leg to stand on.

Talking to that one is like talking to a brick wall IMO. It's a waste of energy.
