He did kill himself and I think it was at his estate near Saranac Lake or lake Clear. Marjorie Merriweather Post May had a huge camp up there also. So did another super rich family who had a wedding at their estate. They had a tent made from gold leaf..........real gold. One of the sons had a wife and three kids. Their nurse and nanny got sick in Rhode island and couldn't make the flight with them so the parents had to take care of the kids..............the fool mother was so unaccustomed to taking care of her children she left one in the airport in Rhode Island and didn't realize it until they arrived at the Saranac Lake airport and someone asked about him,.............he was OK but shook up. That same family never ate in restaurants and never ate fruit or veggies with the skins on........they had to be served without it. Friends of mine worked at their camp as did many in the area. They were big employers in the summertime. The story was they were the second richest family in the US and were afraid of being poisoned! Many of the social register rich had camps up there that would blow your minds.............they have too much money! LOL
