17:23 NVLS Novellus Q1 Mid Qtr call summary (27.35 -0.42) -Update- Co guides narrowed bookings to $400-$420 mln, revs and shipments unchanged. Co expects EPS range of $0.21-0.24, excluding items vs Reuters Estimates EPS of $0.23. During Q&A, co noted clearly N.A.N.D. flash is a driver, but also notes there is some investment level in D.R.A.M. Co noted their is significant investment in the North American and Asian regions. Co noted a pretty broad expansion. Japan is strong and continuing to grow. Co noted inventory levels with customers not a concern. Relative to China, there is continued manufacture of electronic devices more and more. Co noted the ground is fertile for increase investments in China. The stock is trading at $27.13 in after hours trading.
