they celebrated 9/11 in Cairo, I kinda doubt that our friends would do that....... I do recall reporter asking Egyptians about money they are getting from US while they were celebrating 9/11 to which most common response was that just because we hate them does not mean that they should not pay us

you do know that Egypt was the most "insidious" arab country before Israeli tanks were in the shooting distance from Cairo. If I recall it correctly, Russia threatened to enter the war and after some negotiations Israel withdrew and US ended up paying 2-3B a year for Egypt's military build up. US will regret it some day.....
