Joe, making friends is easy when the prediction is right and making enemys is easy when one is wrong....it comes with the territory.

On MSFT:
I believe that the latest fundamental breakdown on MSFT does not justify the high stock price and the CFO of MSFT concurrs...can you believe that ? I am expecting MSFT to break below $130 any day now...hopefully by Monday of next week. I am already ahead on the Oct 130 puts I purchased between $5 1/4 - $5 1/2. They actually hit $8 1/4 two days ago but I am refusing to sell until $10 or $11 (greed is what you might want to call it).

ON INTC:
On INTC, I believe it will break down below $90 since it has attempted to do so twice over the last month. As they say, third time lucky.
I hold the October 95 puts on that stock.

On NOVL, this mother of all no good stocks
I am long the Jan 5 calls and short the October 7 1/2 calls. I picked up a nice premium on the latter at $2 1/4. I plan on buying back at $1 1/8....that is when I expect the stock to hit $8 1/4 - $8 1/2.

As participants at the Chicago conference noticed, NOVL does not have much to offer but vision at this time and that vision coming from a losing company is not to be taken seriously.
I agree that NOVL, Borland, Corel and perhaps Informix all fall in the same boat...real losers.

I cannot understand our Dr. He is providing a vision into the future
at a time when NOVL needs to ant up its revenue stream. He is NO BILL GATES and I hope he doesn't think he will become one either.

NOVL has to sell out fast. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal this morning that talks about companies that have merged with other companies. The merger price was in most cases lower than the stock was trading at the previous day to at most 10% higher.
I think NOVL could be in the same category.

On the last rumour, IBM was "rumoured" to have offerd $20/share and NOVL refused. Ha! Ha! Ha! More like $10 to me.

Better invest in other high tech (CPQ, SUNW, ORCL) blue chip stocks than this mother of all no good stock...although the idea of $13 looks very appealing. $13 it will strike within 3 months and hopefully $15.
Thats why I am still here on this board.....hopefully for the last time although I must admit that the SI group on this board is semething like a family now. PerhapsI should start by saying...how ya doin brother ?
