Holly, I'm driving more and more now, and I took a bus ride two years ago. While returning my rental car to the airport, my wife called my cell very concerned that some Arabs were going to get on our bus. (This was almost three years ago.)

I told her I'd evaluate when I got to the bus station. The turbans turned out to be Sikhs, not Arabs. We went ahead with the trip. They were peaceable, and other than being in need of a bath and being slightly rude in line, they were fine.

I used to LOVE to fly and flew every chance I got, which was seldom. Now I HATE it, and up until three years ago was compelled to fly often. If I have my choice I will never fly again.

I'm sure necessity will rob me of my choice.

I do wish Amtrak had a useful service nationwide. I am sure I would make use of it if they did. Life is too short to fly over it.
