There is growing evidence that things in Afghanistan are worsening, not getting better. Just this past week there were a couple of bombings and a prison riot where some Taliban escaped.

Just today Negroponte confirmed this, and told the senate that things are in deed degrading in afghanistan. Why not? we are busy f--king up another country in that region....no time or resources for obl and afghanistan.

And yet Tim Fowler et al think things are getting better in Afghanistan. How can you get this nation to move off a dime if half the nation is in denial?
