Another triumph for Bush diplomacy the media will ignore

Thomas Lifson
The American Thinker

President Bush seals the deal for satisfying India’s growing energy needs. Some will complain that the administration is being two-faced by helping a country who has not signed on to the Nuclear non-Proliferation Treaty.

However, India has remained steadfast in voting with the US on IAEA resolutions condemning Iran’s flaunting of the treaty and has been consistent in backing America’s interests in the region. This new deal effectively puts the Iranian mullahs’ plans on ice to turn East and split India from the anti-terror Coalition.

Iran will now have to look elsewhere for revenue to finance its terror operations and its nuclear ambitions. Also, China must have certainly taken notice of this latest geo-strategic play in South Asia.

This is yet another strategic triumph of Bush diplomacy which the antique media will ignore.
