Qualcomm must have held some sort of MediaFLO day for Japanese journalists because there are multiple articles at two different newspapers that cover it today. k-tai.impress.co.jp The most interesting slides are on 802.20 (I've never seen these before). They claim a 260Mbps DL and 60Mbps UL speed using 20MHz channels....as well as 3x the network capacity of WiMAX. The timetable for a 802.20 rollout is the beginning of '08 with multimode (3G/802.20) deployments in '09. k-tai.impress.co.jp I think that the article that earlier stated that Qualcomm would be announcing new 802.20 chipsets at CTIA is going to be right. I cant wait to see what Qualcomm has up its sleeve next :-). Slacker
