Karen, One more try with you. Forget the issues and the MSM stuff. The Republican party has forgotten what politics is all about. Look at the last three weeks. 1. Katrina revelations from the tape that apparently republicans werent aware of and no immediate answers too. 2. UAE--i have no idea whether they should or should not run the ports but anyone who watches the TV show 24 or the HBO show The Wire knows how vulnerable the ports are. If we are going to allow a UAE co. to run the ports, preparation of the public by the admin was essential. Instead they were blindsided. 3. Cheneys duck hunt and the delay and then the bs on the delay in reporting it. Where is the genius Rove? Is he distracted? Why not at all. They honestly believe that the red state/blue state formula they got going in national elections will turn 50/50 pop vote situations into republican wins. Well if bush poll numbers stay this low and another bush-like candidate is chosen watch the red states fall.
